A quite interesting way of placing the importance of the Sabbath on the worlds arena'CORONAVIRUS is preventing churches in China from honouring the Christian S. Abbath, something the Book of Revelation predicted before the end of the world, according to a religious publication. Churches in the city, including those honouring the Christian Sabbath, have been banned from providing service to prevent the virus’ spread, which may now be fulfilling a chilling end of days prophecy from the Book of Revelation.' 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.' Exodus 20:8-11.
In this next text we will see how God rested, blessed and sanctified this same day: 'And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which he had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.' Genesis 2:2,3Comments from others concerning the true Bible Sabbath.Martin Luther, 'They the Catholics allege the Sabbath changed into Sunday, the Lord's day, contrary to the Decalogue, as it appear, neither is there any example more boasted of than the changing of the Sabbath day. Great, they say, is the power and authority of the church, since it dispensed with one of the Ten Commandments.' Augsburg Confession of Faith, art. Cool edit pro 2.1 crack free download for mac. Hiscox, author of the Baptist Manual, 'There was and is a commandment to keep holy the Sabbath day, but that Sabbath day was not Sunday. It will be said, however, and with some show of triumph, that the Sabbath was transferred from the seventh to the first day of the week.Where can the record of such a transaction be found? Not in the New Testament-absolutely not.
There is no scriptural evidence of the change of the Sabbath institution from the seventh to the first day of the week. To me it seems unaccountable that Jesus, during three years' intercourse with His disciples, often conversing with them upon the Sabbath question.never alluded to any transference of the day; also that during forty days of His resurrection life, no such thing was intimated. Of course, I quite well know that Sunday did come into use in early Christian history as a religious day, as we learn from the Christian Fathers and other sources. But what a pity that it comes branded with the mark of paganism, and christened with the name of the sun god, when adopted and sanctioned by the papal apostasy, and bequeathed as a sacred legacy to Protestantism!'
A paper read before New York ministers' conference, Sunday School Advocate, 11-31-21, 'The people became Christians and were ruled by an emperor named Constantine. This emperor made Sun-day the Christian sabbath, because of the blessing of light and heat which came from the sun. So our Sunday is a sun-day, isn't it?' Rainforests teem with life. Throughout the many challenges we faced, what stands out most in our hearts are the many special moments we shared with people that will always be dear to our hearts. It is not easy to change direction in life, especially when it comes so suddenly, but we know God always has a plan prepared for those who are faithful to Him. We are forever grateful for the love shared, spiritual growth, and lessons learned through spiritual battles. We pray that God will continue to be with the staff and children at Familia Feliz as the character of Christ is modeled and His love is shared in drawing more people to His feet. The message that we would like to leave with everyone is found in the following verses. Isaiah 4:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
” Psalms 147:3 “He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”. The assurance is:'Through all our trials we have a never-failing Helper.
He does not leave us alone to struggle with temptation, to battle with evil, and be finally crushed with burdens and sorrow. Though now He is hidden from mortal sight, the ear of faith can hear His voice saying, Fear not; I am with you. 'I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore.' DA 483'The omnipotent power of the Holy Spirit is the defense of every contrite soul. Not one that in penitence and faith has claimed His protection will Christ permit to pass under the enemy's power.
The Savior is by the side of His tempted and tried ones. With Him there can be no such thing as failure, loss, impossibility, or defeat; we can do all things through Him who strengthens us. When temptations and trials come, do not wait to adjust all the difficulties, but look to Jesus, your helper.'
DA 490'Poverty is coming upon this world, and there will be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation. There will be wars and rumors of wars, and the faces of men will gather paleness. You may have to suffer distress; you may go hungry sometimes; but God will not forsake you in your suffering. He will test your faith. We are not to live to please ourselves.
We are here to manifest Christ to the world, to represent Him and His power to mankind.' - Manuscript 37, 1894.
