Pros: i was pro build P55 easy for me. I did call support evga is great explain me. I did play game runner smooth. U will addict P55 the best!
Than other mobo. Cons: nope it nothing problem. But book guilde not enogh information. Other Thoughts: my own cpu inter core i5 cpu 3.20 ghz 2 gb uimate os 64 bit. 9800 gtx 7.0. 2 gb 5.0 kington and tb 1 black cavior wd sata.
I will put 16gb upgrade. I will buy new one evga 580. It mobo have temp 36 is great. Wow it tech best. I will buy again mobo same. I suggest u buy for sata is best than other ied hard disk very whako. Pros: Board is solid, has all the bells and whistles (including a few I didn't expect) and worked fine out of the box with a new i5 750 and ram.
Cons: Came with a $40 rebate that can only be redeemed by voiding the warranty (UPC that you have to cut off and mail in says 'Warranty void if removed'). I suppose they pay for the rebate via the money they save from all those voided warranties. I'm skipping the rebate. Other Thoughts: Bummed that I'm not getting the $40 check I thought I'd be getting, but it's not worth the risk of having the replace the board at full price. If I upgraded my hardware more often, I'd go for it, but I'm hoping this lasts me a couple years.
Also having issues with the false bootup that others have mentioned (made me nervous the first couple times). Beeps when booting up are strange. There's probably a way to disable them though. Pros: Duuude. Glowing and blinking lights! Been using it for over a year and never had a problem with it.
Overclocked my i5 to 4GHz (and I'm a perfect newb at overclocking). Got a few fancy schmancy gizmos and did I mention glowing lights? Note: People were complaining about the 'reboot' when you boot your computer, this problem is solved.
It is kinda slow at booting, but eh. I usually put my computer on sleep mode anyway!
Other Thoughts: COOLER MASTER HAF 932 RC-932-KKN1-GP EVGA P55 ForTheWin SLI 132-LF-E657-KR Intel Core i5-750 Zalman CNPS9900NT CPU Cooler 120MM (it fits!) G.SKILL Trident 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W Western Digital Caviar Black WD6401AALS x 2 EVGA GeForce GTX 275 Superclocked. Pros: - Neutral color scheme.
Goes great with any setup, unless you dislike all of the red lights. Blinking red E is cool. CPU temperature monitor is awesome and it displays codes. Status indicator LED for each PCI-E slot is nice to have. PCI-E disable jumpers, onboard CMOS reset and power buttons, clear CMOS switch on I/O shield plate, voltage read points, LGA 775 heat sink compatibility. This motherboard is just extremely convenient.
EVGA Control Panel included. Fits into an external 3.5' slot. Has CMOS reset button, power button, PCI-E disable jumpers, CPU temp monitor and overclocking features. Great feature. Awesome overclocking board.
High end silicon/polymer capacitors, no electrolytics spotted. 12+2 phase PWM for cleaner power, great BIOS options with bootup and eventual voltage options. Dual supplemental CPU power connectors, but this is overkill for anyone using air cooling. Supplemental PCI-E power connector (4-pin molex) for reliability with multi GPU set Cons: It's not a P55 F.T.W.
Other Thoughts: Well I have a few more pros that didn't fit into the above box. I also like how many PCI-E slots it has including one above the video card slots. So you can run a PCI-E x1 device as well as three video cards. Not the best for Tri-SLI or Tri-CF due to one of the slots being x4, but great for 2x SLI + dedicated PhysX or folding. Got my Intel Core i5 760 to 4.2 GHz in just a few minutes. Took 2 or 3 tries and perfectly stable.
Great motherboard for overclockers. Pros: Great look!
Board comes with some LEDs inside, but I don't have a window panel so I can't see them. PCIE slots are nice and spaced out, my temperatures are easily 8ish degrees lower than with my old P5N-D.

My cards are listed in other thoughts. This board overclocks really nicely and gives you an option to enable or disable vdroop. Bios is very detailed. I easily overclocked my i5 750 to 4ghz using the following: bclck: 200 multi: 20 VTT: 1.25 VCORE: 1.21875 without vdroop ram: 1.66 Would go higher but not without some good fans for my corsair h50. No problems with the board, came perfect right out of the box.

Didn't understand how to use that ECP V2 thing. It didn't really have a place to sit haha. Dummy OC IMO isn't worth it though. Bumped my voltage up to like 1.3 to get to 3.2ghz and as you can see I need less than that to get to 4.0. Other Thoughts: Specs: eVGA P55 F.T.W. Pros: Good motherboard if you use Nvidia video cards. Has many pretty lights (extra egg for pretty lights).

Cons: AMD, XFX and Evga have not tested this motherboard or any P55 system with 5970 video card. This motherboard has issues with 5970. I know my 5970 is functioning correctly, as it works great in X58 and AMD systems. It's just not good with P55. Only use Nvidia cards or certified cards in this motherboard. Other Thoughts: I bought this from a Canadian online reseller, so it's not NewEgg's fault. Next time I'll do more research.
