Hi, Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities. I will be glad to help you with the issue you have with the computer. I understand the frustration when things don't work the way it should. Please follow the below troubleshooting to fix the problem: Method 1:.

Boot into OS X. Select Windows as primary boot partition.

Restart your Mac (it should boot now directly into Windows). Restart Windows (NOT turning off. Start Restart) Method 2:. Uninstall the driver completely. Restart into OS X. Then restart into Windows Please reply with the results, we will be glad or help you further.

Hi, Thank you for the response and keeping the status updated. Please update the Network adapter and check if it helps. Update the Network adapter drivers. Press Windows + x, select Device Manager. Right click the Network Adapter drivers. Click Update drivers. You may contact apple for the drivers.

If the drivers are not available for Windows 8 you may download Windows 7 drivers and install them in compatibility mode. To run the drivers in compatibility mode, please follow the steps. Right click the driver installation file and select Properties.

Click the Compatibility tab. Check the option Run this program in compatibility mode. Click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, Click OK. Try installing the driver again. Please refer the link to run the program in compatibility mode. Hope this helps.

If the issue persists or any Windows related queries or issues, please get back to us. We are here to assist you. Thanks - I plugged an Ethernet cable into the router and checked but there was nothing online that would update the driver for Wifi. Your suggestion of running the Driver (that I downloaded as part of installing Windows via Boot Camp and still had on my SD card) in compatibility mode worked - Windows had a go and came back with a successful result for re-establishing connection to the Wifi hardware.

However I still have the same issue with being able to see the Wifi network but not being able to connect. I can connect to my Phone's hotspot, so the hardware works, just not with my home's Wifi network. Hi everyone, I have the same problem. I can connect to some WIFI networks, but not to all. At my current location I can't connect to the WIFI. (Can't connect to this network) I tried all subscribed steps (set as primary boot partition; uninstall driver completely), but it still doesn't work.

Few months ago Apple released a driver update, but it also didn't help. Are there more ideas how to fix the problem?.edit: sometimes (some weeks ago) it was working to connect to the WIFI, but then the internet speed was really really slow. Not more than 70-120 kb/s (under MacOS or with ethernet cable up to 5 mb/s).
