There are sooooo many options for iPad cases/sleeves that its overwhelming! I read.and researched.and got a headache!

To make things more complicated, not all specify whether they are for iPad or iPad 2 or if another cover will fit along w/ this which was a mandatory feature I wanted. I recently purchased the iPad 2 along w/ a smart cover, but there is no way a smart cover is enough protection when I want to transport my iPad 2 out of my house. After MANY hours of reading/researching all over the place, I decided to give this a try. The price is VERY reasonable; the pics + description were most helpful; shipping was fast! I really like this sleeve, altho I feel it is more of a case. It is soft sided w/ some padding, but no stiff support. It has dual opposing zippers, but they do not go all the way around the case, so the case does not open up fully = you have to slide iPad in and out instead of placing flat and then zipping.

Top 9 alternatives to opera neon for mac. Not a problem for me, just didn't realize prior to purchasing. This fits my iPad 2 w/ smart cover very nicely.

I also love the outer zippered pocket for me to carry my earbuds or charger or whatever I might want to take along. Neither the case nor the zipper pocket are large, so don't plan on packing a lot of extra stuff w/ this. Personally, I like this as I did not want a large case adding a lot of bulk to my iPad 2 - I mean, lets face it - part of the attraction of the iPad 2 is the slim, small size. Why would I want to ruin that by bulking it up? The plum color is deep, rich, royal - LOVE it!

I must comment on the smell - there is a definite plastic smell upon opening. Might bother some, didn't really bother me since I had been forewarned and expected it (its not like a toxic green cloud is emanating from the thing) and over the past 48 hours, it has dissipated and now I only smell if I stick my nose right on the thing. Bottom line - slim, attractive, inexpensive, highly functional protective case for my iPad 2 obtained thru an effortless transaction:). This sleeve is attractive, and offers good protection if it's defined as a sleeve, rather than a case.

I like the fact that is has an outside zippered compartment for things like the USB cable, AC adapter for charging, cleaning cloth, etc. I would like it a lot better if it had a shoulder strap for carrying; I'd be less likely to drop it, especially when traveling. The neoprene is a little thin. For that reason I keep the 3/8' thick (?) plastic packing insert inside the sleeve.

With that on the back side of the iPad and the outside pocket stuffed with goodies on the front side, this quasi-case probably offers enough protection. Would I buy it again?mmm, I don't know.

It's okay for around the house, but if carrying it elsewhere, I'd want that shoulder strap and a bit more padding. There are sooooo many options for iPad cases/sleeves that its overwhelming! Bottom line - slim, attractive, inexpensive, highly functional protective case for my iPad 2 obtained thru an effortless transaction:). Looking for an iPad case? You've probably seen the hundreds out there (I know I looked at cases for days), making the decision tough. Not only do you have to pick from the bunch, you also need to decide what type you'd like (some are 'book' style that hold the iPad, some are rubber grips, some are sleeves, some are cases). I put my iPhone in a rubber grip case and after taking it out (6 months later) the back of the iPhone looked terrible - dirt got in, scratched the silver bezel and stained the back of it - not good! For the iPad, as much as I hated to do it, I opted for just a sleeve. This choice has some PRO's and some CON's.

Sleek looking case, doesn't 'ugly up the iPad' when using it, doesn't interfere/get in the way, doesn't block the dock port. But it also doesn't protect it when it's out of its case, or hold it like a stand. To me, that was just a choice I had to deal with.

Of the cases/sleeves I looked at, the Belkin seemed the way to go (some made the iPad as thick as a 90's laptop with all the padding, some had way too much space (letting the iPad slide around)), this one seemed 'just right' - and it doesn't look hideous like some of them out there! One side has some additional stiff material to protect the screen (a great addition) and the best part is that it keeps the slim profile of the iPad.

It's the perfect fit! It has a pocket on the front to hold accessories - it will only hold some smaller ones (probably best for a camera connection kit and maybe a USB cable). I put a microfiber cloth in the pocket and it instantly bulked up the case quite a bit, so be aware that a lot of the size of the case depends on what you put in the extra pocket. The 2 zippers for the main opening is a great touch too!

On the downsides - the white padding inside is a bit odd for a black case, but no deduction on that. I wish the zippers had holes on the ends (those are great to easily 'lock up' - either locking up both zippers together or to something solid like a desk (similar to how the locks on laptops work)). I'd also like to have seen some type of handle, loop, etc. Something to hold onto! I love this little case for my iPad2. I researched a lot of cases before making the decision and landed on this one because of it's good reviews. The color is a gorgeous, rich eggplant - I love the fact that it's a girly color, but not frilly.

It allows me to carry this in my purse and pull it out at work or on the train without looking silly. There is extra room in the case, but I actually opted to leave in the foam padding that came with it for extra protection. I don't have a smart cover for my iPad, so this gives one extra later of padding when it's being thrown around in my bag.

I wish Belkin had a matching case for Kindle. I prefer to use my Kindle for reading - it does fit inside the iPad case - but it'd be nice to have this same case in a smaller size for travel - also, often I want to take my Kindle someplace and don't want to carry along my iPad. I bought this sleeve almost a year ago, and felt compelled to write a review after I discovered my iPad (in this sleeve) swimming in about 2 inches of water at the bottom of my bag. Turns out my water bottle leaked (ughhhh!).

I panicked thinking my iPad was soaked as the slave was completely soaked top to bottle. I basically throw the iPad out fearing the worst only to discover its completely dry, not one drop of water at all on it after sitting in the soaked sleeve for at least a few blocks of my walk. I already loved this product with the really useful zipped pocket that is invisible to the eye when not in use and the padding it offers to the iPad. Now to discover its really reallllllllly water proofed has sealed the deal, I will legit never use another sleeve. I had my eye on a Marc Jacobs one but after this incedent plus the functionality and I'm sold for life! Just to sum up this review I want to add that it holds on very nicely too, looks just like it did out of the box after very heavy use including a good amount of plane rides.

And the pocket can easily hold the charger plus my Mac charger when I travel. Happy buying! After having the iPad in my hands, I realized that I couldn't be moving it around without some sort of protection.

I wanted to buy the Apple case, but it was sold out, so I started searching for similar products. I know that this sleeve is just for carrying the iPad (you can't use it as a stand to show your photos or change the inclination for typing, but it does a great job protecting the product. I'm a student and I carry it inside my backpack, so this really gives me ease of mind. I was a little worried because some people were reviewing other products complaining that they weren't made for the iPad, and were too big. Well, this is just perfect.

It fits nice, and feels nice. I can't complain at all. But of course, later on I might still buy the Apple case. I have an iPad and bought the Zagg keyboard (which is great). Wanted to protect as I just throw my stuff around and travel alot. Wanted something small that would not be heavy, but still protect the iPad and Zagg.

This pleated sleeve is the perfect solution. It fits perfectly with both the iPad and the keyboard.

Also, has a zipper pocket where I keep earbuds, charger, etc. I have mine in the aubergine / plum color and get compliments on how stylish the pleated detail is.

I love it so much I bought one for my fashionista sister-in-law too. I had a Belkin Kindle sleeve which was the same style as this Belkin iPad cover.

I loved the Belkin Kindle cover because it was very well made. The fabric and zippers were durable and functioned nicely. I like that the inside is soft and protected the unit. There is an outside zippered pocket, which is designed so your don't even see it because it blends into the pleated design of the sleeve, that separately houses the cords, etc. Without having to put them inside the sleeve which could scratch the unit. The Belkin Pleated Sleeve for the iPad is just as great as the Belkin Kindle Sleeve.

I've had my iPad Belkin sleeve in Plum for months now and was waiting to wear it in a bit before I wrote a review. It was not too easy looking for a good case for my iPad 2 when I first bought it. I am very glad I chose this one! It fits inside very well considering I have a Splash Flex case on my iPad 2. I've never had difficulty with getting it in or out or having trouble with the zippers. I carry it around without fear of dropping it and it being damaged.

Even when I don't close the zippers completely my iPad is very secure inside and won't budge. The added pocket in the front is great! I put my iPod, earphones and stylus inside and it never feels or looks stuffed or bulky.
