Go big or go home.that’s my final decision. I have had a lot of problems with my first MM and as recommended by many here I returned it. Thought long and hard about the decision and elected to try another unit. I purchased the i7/32gb/2Tb unit which is a more featured unit than the previous. Want this to be my device for a long time. I already was using over 600gb of disk space after installing all of the apps, VST Plugins, loops etc.

I really wanted to get away from using external drives for this. So Apple memory and storage has a price but there is also speed and convenience as well. I also must be crazy and my logic is questionable. I return a device that isn’t working and then spend $600 more and buy another one. I really want it to work because there isn’t an apple desktop I want right now and would prefer not using my MacBook as a desktop.

So I am going big, if it works great I will have a device that I can make work for years. If not it all goes back again and I return to my 2014 MacBook which I boot from an external SSD and continued to utilize the drives connected to it and the hubs for my midi devices.

My delivery date is 11/30 to the Apple store.

Share on Facebook Tweet this Share Long gone are the days when Apple was the only company producing good looking, powerful mid-range laptops. Today it has many competitors, including the likes of Razer. But what if we pit the Razer Blade Stealth vs. Apple’s MacBook Pro? Which is the better laptop for the money? Design One of the biggest differences between mid-range and is that over $1,000, they tend to look a lot nicer and have much better features. That’s certainly the case with both the Razer Blade Stealth and MacBook Pro.

Razer’s new laptop sports a sleek, aluminum exterior in an attractive, compact package, that actually comes in slightly slimmer and trimmer than the Apple alternative. That’s not the case with the display bezels though, which are much sleeker on the MacBook Pro. That gives it a distinctly more modern look than the Blade Stealth, despite similarities in overall styling. The somewhat lacking-in-purpose, MacBook Pro Touch Bar is also something that differentiates the two, though that does come at a $300 premium on the Apple laptop.
