Placing this bag head-to-head with its direct competitor, the Think Tank Airport Takeoff V2, it's a bettery bag. It has a hard shell. The Think Tank bag doesn't offer nearly the level of protection as Tenba in this case, and that's the main purpose of a travel case - is it not? The Hybrid Roller has been my travel bag of choice over the past couple years and I'll be looking to update to this model thanks to the built in security locks and new features.
